Job summary

Glanua is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer in County Galway to lead the electrical design team and ensure compliance with HSE, environmental, sustainability and quality standards. You will work across disciplines to deliver comprehensive electrical designs for plant and site projects, including LV/MV packages and renewable considerations.

The role requires 5+ years in electrical design, a Level 7 qualification, and a proactive approach to procurement, tender reviews, and design

Qualifications

• Minimum Experienced Required (Years): 5.
• Minimum Qualification: Level 7 (incl Diploma & Ordinary Bachelor Degree).

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health, Safety, Environmental, Sustainability & Quality standards are developed into all designs and outputs.
• Lead Electrical Department Design Engineers to meet quality standards, schedules and budgets.
• Collaborate with Process, Mechanical, Control & Automation, Civil and Structural disciplines for optimum design solutions.
• Compile and review site surveys and condition reports as required; manage I/O listings and wiring designs.
• Procurement of LV and MV packages; review tender returns for value and compliance; provide technical reviews.
• Prepare robust handovers to site delivery teams and assist tender pricing with the team.
