Novax Recruitment Ltd is partnering with Ireland's leading structural steel contractor to recruit a Senior Health & Safety Advisor. You will lead on-site safety across live projects, work with project teams, subcontractors and clients to uphold the highest standards and drive continuous improvement.

The role focuses on site inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations and mentoring safety personnel, with a view to embedding a proactive safety culture across major commercial,

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in a senior HSE role within construction.
• Strong knowledge of Irish H&S legislation.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections and incident investigations.
• Proven experience managing subcontractor safety compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day health and safety activities across live construction sites.
• Carry out site inspections, audits and safety walks identifying risks.
• Review and implement risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work.
• Investigate incidents, near misses and unsafe behaviours with corrective actions.
• Mentor site Health & Safety personnel while supporting project management teams.
• Produce safety reports, monitor KPIs and ensure legislative and client compliance.
