Job summary

Design Build Search is seeking a Safety Advisor for Kildare with an emphasis on pre-construction EHS leadership across major international projects. The role involves integrating safety, health and environmental considerations into planning, design, procurement and project delivery.

You will work with design teams, pre-construction managers and clients to develop safe construction methodologies, manage risks and ensure compliant solutions across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Professional EHS qualification (NEBOSH Diploma, Level 8/9 or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in construction, engineering or industrial project environments.
• Experience supporting large-scale construction projects during pre-construction and planning phases.
• Strong knowledge of international health and safety legislation and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead health, safety and environmental strategy during pre-construction across projects.
• Review designs to identify risks and mitigate safety issues.
• Develop project-specific EHS strategies, objectives and plans.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, client requirements and company standards.
• Support incident investigations and lessons learned.
