Job summary

Eaton Dublin is seeking a Senior Engineer, Embedded Systems Design to lead the design and development of next-generation edge intelligence platforms. This role combines hands-on embedded systems development with technical leadership across moderately complex projects from concept through implementation and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in embedded C/C++ development with delivery of high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of embedded software and communication infrastructure for deploying analytics on edge devices.
• Own components of solution development from requirements through implementation, validation, and integration.
• Design and optimise DSP and machine learning workloads for embedded hardware platforms.
• Provide technical leadership in hardware/software integration and architecture decisions.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, test, and stakeholders to ensure project delivery.
• Contribute to backlog definition, sprint planning, and agile execution.
