Job summary

MCS Group is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer (Edge Computing) to help build software powering Linux-based edge devices in a Dublin-based hybrid role. You will work across embedded systems, IoT and cloud connectivity to deliver a cutting-edge platform.

Ideal candidates have strong Embedded Linux and Python development experience, plus knowledge of MQTT, RTSP/ONVIF, computer vision and AI/ML deployment on embedded devices.

Qualifications

• Experience developing software for Linux-based edge devices.
• Strong background in embedded Linux and Python development.
• Experience with edge computing, IoT and cloud connectivity is desirable.
• Knowledge of MQTT, RTSP/ONVIF and computer vision concepts.
• Experience deploying AI/ML on embedded hardware.
• Familiarity with OTA updates and fleet management.
