Job summary

Affidea UK & Ireland in Cork is recruiting a Locum Senior Cardiac Physiologist to lead Echocardiography services and non-invasive cardiovascular investigations, with a flexible clinic workload.

Ideal candidates have about 5 years post-qualification experience, at least 3 years Echo, and current BSE or EACVI accreditation. You’ll mentor staff and collaborate with cardiologists to deliver high-quality patient care across Ireland.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5 years post-qualification experience with at least 3 years Echo.
• Current BSE or EACVI accreditation as part of professional credentials.
• Ability to lead, mentor staff and collaborate with cardiology teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage own clinic workload with efficiency and flexibility.
• Lead echocardiography and non-invasive testing to high standards.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure high training and patient care standards.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses and other professionals to deliver care.
• Possibly participate in development of new testing sites nationwide.
