Job summary

HRM Search Partners has partnered with a leading international manufacturing organisation headquartered in Dublin to recruit a Senior Microsoft Dynamics AX Developer. You will lead AX developments, customisations, and integrations across core manufacturing and supply chain modules, translating business needs into scalable X++ code.

Based in Dublin, you will engage with global teams, maintain ALM governance, and support EU/US sites with complex AX solutions and performance tuning.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics AX development and architecture customisations (AX 2009, 2012 R2/R3).
• Translate business requirements into technical design specifications for AX implementations.
• Strong experience with MorphX, X++, AOT, and Security Framework.
• Proven ability to design robust integrations with MES, ERP tools, and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust AX customisations and extensions.
• Build high-performance integrations between Dynamics AX and external systems.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning in SQL Server environments.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, and operations leads to map workflows to technical design.
• Maintain ALM processes, version control, and transport deployment across sites.
