Job summary

Egis is a leading global infrastructure consultancy seeking a Senior Engineer - Drainage Design in Ireland. You will lead drainage design on projects, coordinating with Clients and junior staff while applying CIRIA, TII, DMURS and SuDS guidelines.

The role requires strong experience in flow estimation, catchment analysis, culvert design and related software tools, with flexibility to base in multiple Irish cities including Dublin, Cork, Castlebar or Limerick.

Qualifications

• Must have drainage design experience to both TII publications and DMURS projects.
• Proficient in MicroDrainage or similar software.
• Proficient in HEC-RAS modelling or similar.
• Proficient in CulvertMaster or similar.
• Knowledge of DMURS and SuDS manual is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the drainage design on projects and provide updates to Clients.
• Provide guidance and support to junior staff where necessary.
• Demonstrate experience in flow estimation and catchment analysis.
• Design culverts to CIRIA guidance and manage OPW Section 50 applications.
• Apply knowledge of TII drainage publications and the Greater Dublin Regional Code of Practice; understand DMURS and the SuDS manual.
