Job summary

Egis Group is seeking a Senior Engineer - Drainage Design to lead drainage design on major projects in Ireland. The role requires expertise in pipework, surface water channels, gullies and attenuation, with strong knowledge of flow estimation and catchment analysis.

The successful candidate will work under their own initiative, mentor junior staff, and ensure designs align with TII publications, DMURS and the SuDS manual. Experience with MicroDrainage, HEC-RAS and CulvertMaster is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in drainage network design including pipework, surface water channels, gullies and attenuation systems.
• Experience in flow estimation and catchment analysis.
• Culvert design to CIRIA guidance; OPW Section 50 applications.
• Knowledge of TII publications, DMURS and the SuDS manual.

Responsibilities

• Act as the drainage lead on projects and provide updates to Clients.
• Support and guide junior staff where necessary.
• Design drainage networks to meet project requirements, including pipework, surface water channels, gullies and attenuation systems.
