Job summary

Manpower - Ireland is seeking a Director of Environmental & Planning in Sligo to drive growth and performance within a leading multidisciplinary consultancy. The role oversees business development, financial performance, and technical excellence across the Environmental & Planning division.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in environmental and planning consultancy.
• Senior leadership experience within a consultancy environment.
• Strong track record delivering major infrastructure projects.
• Extensive knowledge of EIA/EIAR, planning legislation and environmental directives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic growth plan for the Environmental & Planning divisions.
• Identify new markets and secure major frameworks with utilities, developers and infrastructure clients.
• Lead senior client, regulatory and stakeholder relationships.
• Take responsibility for divisional financial performance, forecasting and operational delivery.
• Provide technical oversight of complex EIARs, environmental assessments and planning strategies.
• Work collaboratively with engineering disciplines on major infrastructure projects.
• Lead recruitment, retention, mentoring and development of the Environmental & Planning team.
• Represent the business at senior industry and stakeholder level.
