Job summary

Optum in Ireland is seeking a Senior Leader to own affordability concepts from intake through deployment and value realization. You will navigate governance gates, ensure readiness, and deliver executive-ready materials while aligning diverse stakeholders across clinical, operations, finance, and technology.

Based in Ireland, the role offers a hybrid work model with the option to split time between Dublin or Letterkenny offices and remote work, plus flexible arrangements to support work-life

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in healthcare, managed care, affordability, reimbursement policy, healthcare operations, or related business environments.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs or major portfolios.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholder groups in matrixed environments.
• Experience developing executive-level presentations and governance materials.
• Ability to drive outcomes with limited supervision in ambiguity.
• Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint and strong business communication.

Responsibilities

• Own affordability concepts from intake through deployment and value realization.
• Lead governance through gates and ensure readiness and quality before progression.
• Partner with Clinical, Non-Clinical, Legal, Finance, Technology, and Operations teams.
• Track portfolio health, risks, actions, and governance outcomes.
• Support continuous improvement of affordability operating models and governance processes.
