Job summary
Catalyx is seeking a Digital Laboratory Transformation Lead to drive automation and digital transformation of pharmaceutical laboratory operations in Cork, with travel to Switzerland. You will bridge lab operations, automation, and IT to connect LIMS, ELN, SDMS, and automation platforms, delivering scalable solutions and data integrity.
The role requires strong technical, communication, and project leadership skills, with experience in LabWare LIMS and GxP environments, coordinating multi-vendor
Qualifications
- 7+ years in regulated lab environments (pharma/biotech)
- Hands-on with laboratory systems and instrument integration
- Strong understanding of LIMS/ELN/SDMS data flows
- LabWare LIMS experience in design/config/validation/implementation
- Knowledge of GxP, CSV/CSA, 21 CFR Part 11/EU Annex 11
Responsibilities
- Define requirements for network architecture, LIMS/SDMS/ELN, and data integration frameworks
- Review vendor design docs and ensure alignment with customer needs
- Act as primary interface between customer and vendor-partners across time zones
- Map and assess lab processes, data flows, and automation opportunities
- Drive implementation of agreed digital and automation initiatives
- Collaborate with scientists, IT/OT, QA, and automation engineers
- Ensure scalable solutions conform to existing technology environments
