Purpose of the role: The role of the Senior Dietitian in Diabetes is to provide a comprehensive Clinical Nutrition service to patients attending the Diabetes and Endocrinology service across the acute inpatient and outpatient settings, to meet individual patient needs using evidence-based practice and to communicate and work effectively with patients, carers, hospital staff, community colleagues and other health professionals to deliver quality care within a multi-disciplinary team.
