Job description

Overview

Leopardstown Park Hospital (LPH) is a registered centre for the provision of services to older people, providing Day services and Long-Term Care, situated in South Co. Dublin. It was established in 1917 and continues to provide interdisciplinary services on a seven-day, twenty-four-hour basis. The Hospital facilitates student placements from a range of disciplines in association with the Universities. It is currently registered for 120 long stay beds and 30 Day spaces. The Hospital has an extensive Interdisciplinary Team comprising Nursing, H.C.A., Medical, S.L.T, Dietetics, Phlebotomy, Podiatry, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Resident Services, Activity Facilitators, Administration staff. LPH is entering an exciting development phase with the construction of a new 125 bed hospital building which is currently going through the planning process.

Salary

Salary Scale for Position €63,912 to €75,254 (PRO RATA)

Eligibility Criteria

Professional Qualifications And/or Experience

Candidates must have at the latest date of application:

• Be registered, or be eligible for registration, as a Dietitian by the Dietitians Registration Board at CORU or be entitled to be so registered

And

• Have the clinical and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role

And

• Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Dietitians Register maintained by the Dietitians Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued

An Annual Registration

On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Dietitians Register maintained by the Dietitians Registration Board at CORU.
