Job summary

Acuity Inc. in Ireland is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, scale, and secure our cloud-based commerce platform. You will own CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and platform reliability across cross-functional teams.

You will lead automation, implement best practices, and collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to accelerate release cycles while maintaining high security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5–6+ years in software DevOps/Platform Eng/SRE/Cloud infra.
• Proven CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance experience.
• Strong cloud experience, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Proficient in Python and automation tooling.
• Strong Linux knowledge and modern dev workflows.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Kustomize, Kyverno.
• Hands-on with IaC tools (Bicep, Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong DevSecOps focus: secure CI/CD, secrets mgmt, scanning.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration across Agile teams.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Miro, MS Teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infra and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead automation of infrastructure provisioning and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, security, and product teams to ensure secure delivery.
• Promote DevOps best practices across the team and improve delivery speed.
• Build and improve CI/CD standards with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins.
• Support containerized workloads with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Kustomize.
• Implement monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement across infra and pipelines.
• Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and engineering standards.
• Mentor engineers and raise DevOps maturity across teams.
