Job summary

Randstad Digital UK in Ireland is seeking a Senior DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to scale, automate, and optimize our cloud backend and CI/CD systems.

You will architect high-availability environments on Azure and GCP, build automated delivery pipelines, and manage Docker and Kubernetes-based microservices. The role emphasizes IaC, distributed databases, SecOps practices, code reviews, and mentoring the team to improve reliability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE.
• 2+ years in Python, Go, Java, or Bash.
• MongoDB, Elasticsearch, MySQL, Redis, Kafka, or ScyllaDB.
• Strong Linux administration skills alongside Git, Jenkins, and Artifactory.

Responsibilities

• Cloud & Automation: Architect and scale high-availability environments on Azure and GCP.
• CI/CD & Containers: Build automated delivery pipelines and manage microservices with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Reliability & Security: Implement IaC, manage distributed databases, and enforce SecOps best practices.
• Technical Guidance: Perform code reviews, mentor team members, and drive operational efficiency.
