Job summary

Digis, based in Galway, Ireland, is seeking a senior DevOps specialist to lead and own the Azure platform behind a new luxury travel booking engine. You will drive automation, security, and reliability for a high-availability SaaS product.

You will design and implement IaC using Terraform/Bicep, establish robust CI/CD processes, and collaborate closely with CTO, engineering and QA to raise standards and performance for a global customer base.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps professional experience.
• 3+ years of Azure experience.
• 2+ years Terraform or Bicep experience.
• Upper-Intermediate level of English.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps for luxury travel tech with Azure platform behind a new booking engine used by luxury hotel brands.
• Build a next-gen foundation from scratch with a new platform and data services.
• IaC-first approach using Terraform/Bicep for reproducible Azure subscriptions, networking, identities and permissions.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with automated tests, security scans, performance checks and release gates.
• Ensure security and global performance with WAFs, certs, secrets, identity controls, and CDN strategy.
• Develop observability with logs, metrics, tracing, dashboards and runbooks to keep incidents predictable and resolved quickly.
• Automate deployments, DB migrations, rollbacks and internal tooling to remove friction for engineers.
• Collaborate with CTO/engineering/QA to raise engineering standards across the org.
