Job summary
Fingleton White & Co seeks a Senior Design Engineer to join the Energy, Utilities and Renewables design team in Portlaoise. The role offers opportunity to lead high‑value, complex projects with senior support and progression paths across multiple offices in Cork, Galway and Dublin.
The successful candidate will design from concept through to project completion, covering building services upgrades, renewables (biogas, biomass, CHP, solar, hydro), pipelines and gas/oil/water installations, with a
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or higher in mechanical engineering or related field.
- 7+ years post-graduate design experience in energy/utilities.
- Fluent written and spoken English essential.
Responsibilities
- Design & project management from concept to completion in energy/utilities sectors.
- HVAC, energy retrofit and building services design.
- Development of design calculations, drawings and specifications.
- Attend HAZID/HAZOP/LOPA studies and PSDP role.
