Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to help build the next generation of risk scoring and prioritization in Exposure Management. You will lead research, mentor teammates, and guide technical strategy while collaborating with engineers and product managers to drive innovative analytics.

This role offers a dynamic environment in which you will shape technical vision, deploy production-grade models at scale, and influence CrowdStrike's approach to cybersecurity analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or related field.
• 8+ years of applied ML/research experience with leadership in production-grade models.
• Strong Python and deep learning framework skills; experience with cloud technologies.
• Proven technical leadership, mentoring teams and driving strategy.
• Excellent communication to influence senior stakeholders.
• Track record solving complex technical challenges at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead and architect the research strategy for risk and posture scores across CrowdStrike.
• Drive innovation in risk prioritization and data classification.
• Collaborate with software engineers to productionize new algorithms and models.
• Ensure observability of existing algorithms to inform future updates.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and align technical strategy with business goals.
• Represent CrowdStrike's technical excellence through publications, talks, and thought leadership.
• Establish best practices, technical standards, and evaluation frameworks for the team.
