Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a motivated security researcher to join the Advanced Research Team (ART). You will apply a broad set of security skills to support intelligence missions, research topics related to information security, and develop tools for analysts.

You will work on long-term research and provide solutions for ad-hoc needs across teams. Responsibilities include building automated data collection at scale, honeypots, vulnerability research, and publishing results.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of information security experience.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Experience with vulnerability research concepts (patch analysis, exploit primitives).
• Familiarity with reverse engineering tools and techniques.
• Strong understanding of Linux and Windows internals; network protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated solutions for collecting, processing and analyzing data at scale.
• Operate and extend honeypots to detect adversary TTPs.
• Perform vulnerability research and publish findings.
• Collaborate with CrowdStrike Intelligence and other teams to meet data collection needs.
• Reproduce vulnerabilities and provide actionable information.
• Publish research results on CrowdStrike blog or at conferences.
