Job summary

Circle K in Dublin, Ireland, is seeking a Senior Data Scientist within Global Data & Analytics to lead advanced customer and marketing analytics initiatives driving retention and growth.

You'll collaborate with Digital, Marketing, Finance and Data teams to translate complex models into actionable business insights, deploy end-to-end pipelines, and mentor colleagues while advancing data-driven decision making across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Data Science, Economics, AP Math, CS).
• Experience applying operational research, statistical and ML techniques (classification, regression, time series, clustering, optimization, anomaly detection).
• Proficiency in Pandas, SQL, Power BI or Tableau; + PySpark and cloud platforms (Azure, Databricks, Snowflake).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of high-impact data science projects with ambiguous problems.
• Drive end-to-end DS project lifecycle from problem understanding to deployment and monitoring.
• Translate model outputs into actionable insights for Digital, Marketing and Leadership teams.
• Lead engagement across functions and frame insights in terms of business impact and risks.
• Implement CI/CD, automation and AI Agent structures to manage activities.
• Mentor junior team members in code development and data management.
