Job summary

The Information Lab Ireland is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and deliver production-ready data solutions for clients. You will lead data engineering workstreams, translate business requirements into robust Fabric-based architectures, and deliver end-to-end data solutions with strong data governance.

You will work directly with clients to clarify requirements, present progress and ensure delivery quality, while mentoring small delivery teams and shaping best-practice standards.

Qualifications

• Five years’ professional Data Engineer experience.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Pipelines, Warehouses, Notebooks).
• Strong SQL, Python and PySpark skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery of data engineering workstreams from design to deployment.
• Build end-to-end data solutions in Fabric including schema and data lineage.
• Create source-to-target mappings and maintain documentation.
