Job summary

IPL Schoeller in Dublin is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to strengthen the BI and Data team. You will design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and data assets that support Microsoft Fabric adoption, enterprise analytics and operational reporting.

You will work with SQL, data modelling and lakehouse architectures, integrating ERP, finance and operational data, while ensuring data quality, governance and performance across the platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years in data engineering or similar.
• Hands-on SQL and data pipelines on Microsoft-centric platforms.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for analytics.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain batch and near real-time data pipelines.
• Develop, optimise and support SQL transformations and data models.
• Design lakehouse, warehouse and staged data architectures.
• Integrate data from ERP, finance, and operational systems.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring across pipelines.
• Collaborate on semantic models and BI reports with the BI team.
• Support platform reliability, performance and governance.
