Job summary

Alexion IT is seeking a Data & AI Capability Lead to drive data-driven programs across Operations, including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality. You will architect data foundations, oversee data platforms, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable Data & AI solutions.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in data lake/BI/AI delivery, strong vendor management, and deep knowledge of GDPR/HL7/FHIR privacy standards. A global pharma setting and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; engineering preferred.
• 8+ years leading data lake and data integration architectures.
• Experience with BI tools (Qlik Sense/PowerBI) and data science languages (R, Python).
• Knowledge of GDPR/HIPAA/HL7(FHIR) privacy standards.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Understand business needs; define Data & AI requirements; coordinate with IT and external partners.
• Drive data management initiatives and build FAIR data products across domains.
• Ingest data, create data hubs, and support integration to digital apps for insights via AI/ML.
• Lead adoption of data products and AI/ML solutions across functions.
• Provide consultancy to global and regional stakeholders and ensure alignment with goals.
