Job summary

QT Technologies Ireland Limited is seeking a CPU Post-Silicon Power and Performance Engineer to drive characterization, analysis, debugging, and optimization of next-generation CPU technologies within complex SoC platforms.

You will develop validation methodologies, design experiments, analyze silicon behavior, and provide actionable feedback to architecture, design, and product teams across hardware and software domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of post-silicon validation, CPU characterization, power/performance analysis, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of modern CPU microarchitectures, memory hierarchies, and system-level performance.
• Proficiency in Python and C/C++, with automation and data-analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute end-to-end power, performance, and characterization plans for CPU/SoC subsystems.
• Develop measurement methodologies and experiments to evaluate silicon behavior under various workloads.
• Debug performance, power miscorrelations with pre-silicon projections.
• Analyze CPU microarchitecture, memory hierarchy, interconnects, firmware, OS, and platform components.
