Job summary

Arlo Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager in Cork to own the cost accounting function end-to-end within a SOX-relevant, US-listed company.

You will collaborate with US Corporate Controller, FP&A, and External Audit to streamline processes and drive efficiency. The role requires a recognized accounting qualification and extensive cost accounting experience in manufacturing/technology, with strong US GAAP knowledge and Oracle EBS/OCI proficiency.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent.
• Extensive cost accounting experience in manufacturing, hardware or technology.
• Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory valuation and reserves under US GAAP.
• Experience in a public company or SOX-compliant environment.
• Proficiency in Oracle EBS/OCI and advanced Excel; OAS is a plus.
• Ability to own end-to-end cost accounting processes within a global team.
• Effective communication with senior stakeholders and US-based teams.
• Proven track record of automating manual accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end standard costing process and overhead reviews.
• Lead inventory reserve calculations and reporting.
• Present period cost actuals and forecasts to senior management.
• Partner with Operations to analyze cost components (PPV, tariffs).
• Oversee Cost Trial Balance, standard margin reconciliations, and post-close allocations.
• Serve as the primary contact for Deloitte on cost accounting controls.
• Oversee Cost Accountant and ensure timely deliverables.
• Drive continuous improvement of cost accounting systems and controls.
