Job summary

Lilly in Kinsale (Dunderrow, Co. Cork) is seeking a senior accounting leader to drive accurate month-end close under US GAAP and statutory reporting under IFRS/FRS.

You will own internal controls, collaborate with tax, treasury and external manufacturing, and guide a multi-site accounting team in a hybrid setup. Role focuses on financial reporting, SOX compliance, process improvements, and partnering with engineering and procurement to manage capital and cost processes in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Accountancy qualification with 5-10 years PQE, preferably in manufacturing.
• Ability to lead and motivate in a team environment.
• Strong self-management, prioritization, analytical and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to establish relationships across all levels and externally.
• Broad manufacturing business knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the Kinsale General Accounting, P2P and Fixed Asset Team.
• Recruit, mentor, coach and develop team members.
• Collaborate with financial partners to ensure accurate month-end close under US GAAP.
• Own SOX compliance and internal quality review processes.
• Deliver local statutory reporting and support group consolidation under IFRS/FRS.
• Manage intercompany inventory, product costing and variance reporting.
• Deliver external reporting to government and other statutory bodies.
• Provide monthly cashflow and FX forecasts to tax and treasury teams.
• Support payroll processing and collaboration with finance teams.
• Drive continuous improvement across the area.
