Job summary

QT Technologies Ireland Limited in Cork seeks an experienced embedded software engineer to contribute to SoC driver development across compute/mobile sectors. You will deliver critical embedded drivers and prototypes spanning Qualcomm’s chipset portfolio, testing and documenting features for internal and external use.

Ideal candidates have strong C/C++, Linux kernel experience, and a track record in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field recommended.
• Masters in Engineering or PhD considered an asset depending on experience.
• 2+ years of software engineering or related work experience.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming in C, C++, Java, Python.

Responsibilities

• Deliver embedded drivers and features across device driver teams.
• Design, test and document drivers for internal and external consumption.
• Contribute pan-technology across Qualcomm's chipset portfolio.
