Job summary

eir is seeking a Core Networks Senior DevOps Networks Engineer based in Dublin 8 with hybrid work options. The role focuses on detailed design and support of Core Networks and infrastructure, aligning with CTO objectives and delivering cost-effective platforms.

The role requires leadership in innovative design, agile practices, and on-call support to ensure high availability and optimal performance for our subscribers.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in systems and network design/implementation.
• Experience with Core Networks and telecom platforms.
• Experience in System administration and network/IP routing.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and support eir Core Networks systems and services.
• Lead initiatives in innovative and agile design with on-call support.
• Ensure delivery targets, budgets and quality criteria are met.
• Develop O&M processes and migration plans for new platforms.

Relevant third level qualification or industry recognised certification
