Job summary

Thermo Systems LLC is seeking a Senior Controls Design Engineer to lead the design and delivery of BMS and EPMS control panel systems for mission‑critical projects. You will produce schematics, wiring diagrams, I/O allocations, and BOMs while ensuring alignment with project requirements and vendor specs.

You will validate design quality through constructability reviews and coordinate with internal teams and panel manufacturers to achieve timely, manufacturable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or equivalent with relevant technical experience.
• 5-7 years' experience in electrical control panel design or automation.
• Experience in industrial automation, utilities, or mission-critical projects.
• Familiarity with IEC 60204/IEC 61439 desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design control panels for HVAC, power monitoring, switchgear, and field instrumentation.
• Produce manufacturing-ready drawings and 100% readiness documentation.
• Conduct constructability assessments and validate installation feasibility.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve technical queries.
