Job summary

Morson in Ireland is seeking a Contracts Manager reporting to the Delivery Director. You will oversee pre- and post-contract activities, ensure compliance with NEC terms, and coordinate with Procurement and Legal teams to engage contractors and consultants.

You will manage subcontractor approvals, certify payments, monitor KPIs, handle claims, and lead contract strategies to maximise value and minimise disputes across complex infrastructure projects in our portfolio.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience: 10+ years total, incl. 5+ years in contract management and NEC contracts.
• Proven track record managing contracts on high-value metro rail or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge in monitoring performance against contractual requirements.
• Experience in managing contractual claims.
• Experience implementing contractor performance management frameworks.
• Understanding KPI development for contractor organisations.
• Expertise in NEC contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre- and post-contract requirements for awarded contracts and work orders.
• Lead contractual negotiations and coordinate input from Procurement and Legal teams.
• Certify payments and audit Defined Costs for NEC contracts.
• Monitor contractor/consultant performance against KPIs and resolve disputes.
• Review and approve subcontractors and related documentation.
• Develop and maintain contract management strategies and KPI libraries.
