Qualifications

• Must have suitable experience in Geriatric Medicine and General Internal Medicine (GIM).
• Specialist registration in Geriatrics and GIM with Irish Medical Council is required.
• On-call commitment is 1 in 6.
• Teaching and educational supervision of medical students and NCHDs is expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inpatient and outpatient care for older adults with frailty.
• Participate in rostered consultant supervision of the on-site Medical Assessment Unit.
• Provide clinical supervision and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Collaborate with Acute Medicine and the wider multidisciplinary team.
