Job summary

St John's Hospital, Limerick invites applications for a Consultant Physician in Geriatric Medicine. The post is permanent, full-time, and pensionable, based in Limerick, Ireland. The role emphasizes comprehensive care for older patients through inpatient and outpatient services.

Qualifications

• Experience in Geriatric Medicine and General Internal Medicine (GIM).
• Specialist registration in Geriatrics & GIM with the Irish Medical Council.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inpatient and outpatient services for older adults.
• Provide rostered consultant supervision to the on-site Medical Assessment Unit.
• Involve in teaching and supervising medical students and NCHDs.
• Collaborate with Acute Medicine colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team.
