Job summary

The Demo Data Ltd. is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the end-to-end procurement of subcontractor packages for residential developments in Ireland. This senior role is responsible for strategy, team leadership and long-term supplier relationships.

You will drive improvements through automation and AI-enabled tools while ensuring budget alignment and value-for-money procurement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in the construction industry.
• 3+ years' recent experience on Irish residential developments.
• Proven experience procuring subcontractor packages for large residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction procurement processes and subcontractor markets.
• Experience managing procurement or purchasing teams.
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a small, close-knit team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the procurement strategy across all residential developments.
• Manage end-to-end procurement of subcontractor packages from tender to appointment.
• Develop procurement programmes aligned with construction delivery schedules.
• Identify, evaluate and prequalify subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure competitive tendering and value-for-money procurement while maintaining quality standards.
• Lead commercial negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare procurement recommendations and award reports for senior management approval.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key subcontractors and suppliers.
• Work with AI-powered tools to improve efficiency, reporting and workflows.
