Job summary

Walls Construction is seeking a Planner to join our team in Ireland. You will prepare pre‑tender, tender, and post‑tender documentation, including critical path programmes and execution plans, and work closely with site management to align project schedules.

You will develop contract programmes, monitor progress, and integrate subcontractor timelines into the overall programme. The role includes training and supporting planning software usage across the team.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional qualification, ideally in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of five years’ planning experience within the construction industry.
• Strong IT proficiency, including experience with planning and programming software.
• Experience in Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject is preferred.
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pre‑tender, tender, and post‑tender documentation including critical path programmes and project execution plans.
• Develop detailed contract programmes and project schedules; produce progress reports and analysis.
• Prepare site target and look‑ahead programmes and review subcontractor schedules.
• Review subcontractor schedules and ensure their integration into the overall construction programme.
• Provide training and technical support on planning systems and software.
