Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. seeks a Senior Compliance Design Evaluation Engineer to drive product compliance for the Data Center and Energy unit. You will execute safety, EMC, mechanical, and environmental tests, and document results with certification bodies to ensure standards conformance.

Responsibilities include developing test fixtures, lab automation, and review of schematics/PCB layouts for safety and EMC alignment. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Experience performing product compliance testing to IEC 61010-1 and/or IEC 61000 EMC series.
  • Experience working with external certification bodies and supporting certification campaigns.
  • Ability to produce clear, repeatable test procedures and high-quality test reports.
  • Hands-on electronics lab skills including soldering/rework and component selection/procurement.
  • Programming or test automation experience in Python and/or LabVIEW.

Responsibilities

  • Execute laboratory test plans and procedures for safety, EMC, mechanical, and environmental standards.
  • Generate detailed test reports documenting DUT configurations to ensure repeatability across cycles and labs.
  • Develop fixtures/jigs, lab interface boards, and software tools for laboratory automation.
  • Coordinate logistics with internal labs, engineering, and certification bodies for testing schedules.
  • Support debug activities in the lab, including soldering/rework and board modifications as needed.
  • Review schematics, PCB layout, and mechanical designs to verify alignment with safety and EMC rules.
