Responsibilities

  • Stay updated on EU regulations and ensure products meet current standards.
  • Develop and maintain data/test result documentation to support technical file and declaration of conformity.
  • Coordinate product testing and liaise with external labs and notified bodies.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and manufacturing to embed compliance in development lifecycles.
  • Train teams on CE marking processes and regulatory updates.
  • Support procurement/quality teams with technical data for regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct internal audits and be primary point of contact for external audits and inspections.

CE Marking Coordinator Department: Regulatory Compliance We are seeking a CE Marking Coordinator to join our team and ensure compliance with European Union (EU) regulations for our semiconductor products. This role is critical in managing the CE marking process, ensuring products meet essential EU safety, health, and environmental protection requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance Management: Lead the CE Marking Process: Coordinate and oversee the CE marking process across Analog Devices’ product portfolio to ensure compliance with EU directives and regulations (e.g., EMC, RoHS, REACH, UKCA).
  • Regulatory Standards: Stay updated on relevant EU regulations and technical standards, ensuring all products meet current and updated compliance requirements for CE marking.
  • Documentation Management: Refine, develop and maintain a process of data and test result consolidation required to serve as the Technical File in support and generation of the Declaration of Conformity. Improve alignment and presentation of marking documentation with existing document systems.
  • Product Testing Coordination: Work with internal teams and external testing labs to ensure products meet applicable standards and pass required testing. Serve as liaison between external certified bodies and laboratories and internal technical product teams, for contractual efficiencies and effectiveness across ADI.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Team Coordination: Partner with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to integrate CE compliance requirements throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Training & Awareness: Train internal teams on CE marking processes, regulatory updates, and compliance best practices.
  • Vendor Management: Support and enhance procurement, quality and manufacturing team processes to ensure accurate and comprehensive technical data is provided during supplier and material/product selection to support applicable regulatory requirements for compliance markings.
  • Audits & Reporting: Internal Audits: Conduct internal audits to verify compliance for CE-marked products.
  • External Audits: Serve as the main point of contact for external audits and inspections related to CE compliance.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on compliance status, risks, and progress to key stakeholders.
Qualifications

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in regulatory compliance for electronic or semiconductor products, with a strong focus on CE marking. Experience with EU directives and standards such as EMC Directive, Low Voltage Directive, RoHS, REACH, and other relevant regulations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in regulatory compliance or CE marking.
  • Experience with international regulatory standards beyond the EU (e.g., UL, FCC).
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
