Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks an experienced Commercial Manager to lead commercial strategy, contract management, programme controls, budgeting and risk management for a major national infrastructure programme. This senior role provides high-level commercial leadership across all project phases.

You will oversee governance, procurement and contract strategy, and ensure robust financial, schedule and risk performance while leading a multidisciplinary team including cost, planning and project controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience delivering major infrastructure or capital programmes.
• Significant commercial leadership experience in complex, multi-disciplinary environments.
• Experience with NEC4, FIDIC or public sector contract frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead commercial teams and influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead all commercial and contractual activities across assigned programme workstreams.
• Develop contract strategies, oversee tendering and negotiations, ensuring client governance alignment.
• Oversee cost planning, forecasting, benchmarking, performance reporting and change control.
• Ensure robust governance and compliance across the full lifecycle of the programme.
