Search Talent is partnering with an established construction firm to appoint a Head of Commercial / Senior Commercial Manager. You will lead a high‑performing commercial team, own project profitability, and shape commercial strategies across a portfolio of residential and mix‑use developments.

Qualifications

Experience in construction commercial management.
Proven ability to protect margins and influence financial outcomes.
Experience overseeing multiple projects and managing commercial teams.
Excellent negotiation skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
Residential or mixed-use construction experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

Leading and developing a team of commercial professionals.
Taking ownership of commercial performance across projects from planning to completion.
Driving profitability through cost management, procurement, forecasting and risk control.
Providing commercial insight to senior leadership for key decisions.
Overseeing major contract negotiations and subcontractor relationships.
Identifying opportunities to strengthen margins and improve systems.
Supporting tendering, project appraisals and future growth.
