Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Sr. Associate Cloud Security Engineer (P2) to protect its technology environment across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises platforms.

You will work with Cybersecurity Engineering to design secure infrastructure, monitor risks, and drive remediation and compliance activities, partnering with infrastructure, network, and application teams. In this role, you will build technical expertise while contributing to enterprise security capabilities and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field with 2+ years in cybersecurity.
• 2+ years experience in cybersecurity, network security, IT infrastructure, or cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP and enterprise network communications.
• Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs or network segmentation controls.
• Experience reviewing network access management in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of IAM, least privilege, vulnerability management, config hardening, and incident response.
• Experience supporting cloud or hybrid infrastructure and applying security controls.
• Basic scripting or programming for automation.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux in an enterprise setting.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security controls across cloud, network, and infrastructure.
• Analyse security alerts and support incident response using monitoring tools.
• Assist with vulnerability management and track remediation.
• Review network access requests ensuring least-privilege access.
• Evaluate network traffic and identify security risks for secure design.
• Support compliance, audit, and risk assessments with evidence and reviews.
• Collaborate with teams to embed security requirements into deployments.
