Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking an experienced Platform Hosting Cloud Security Engineer to design and implement security controls across PlayStation infrastructure. You will lead efforts to detect gaps, mature tooling, and automate security processes within multi-cloud environments.

The role requires hands-on AWS/GCP security, IaC expertise with Terraform/CloudFormation, and strong coding skills in Python and Go. Collaboration and mentoring are key in a fast-paced, security‑minded team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud security, security engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience securing cloud infrastructure in AWS, GCP, or both.
• Proficient in Python and Go programming languages.
• Experience with IaC tools like CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Kubernetes).
• Experience building end-to-end enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement security controls for PlayStation infrastructure.
• Detect security gaps and mature tooling and processes.
• Collaborate with product/platform teams to deploy cloud security applications.
• Automate security processes and integrate into code builds and deployments (DevSecOps).
• Develop automation to audit, secure, and enforce changes across multi-cloud environments.
• Promote security tooling to improve platform availability with automated protections.
• Document security designs, procedures, and recommendations clearly.
