Job summary

Fexco is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement and own security controls across Microsoft Azure and other cloud platforms. You will work hands-on with Terraform to deploy secure cloud infrastructure and integrate threat intelligence within security operations tooling.

The role involves end-to-end ownership of security operations capabilities, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with IT, DevOps and architecture teams. Hybrid role based in Kerry, with on-site visits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience in cloud/security
• Hands-on Azure security experience with IaC (Terraform)
• Experience with Azure-native controls (Policy, IAM) and Defender/Sentinel
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Responsibilities

• Design and own security controls across Azure and cloud platforms
• Develop and maintain Terraform configurations for secure infrastructure
• Lead threat detection, monitoring, and incident response efforts
• Mentor engineers and analysts and influence cross-team security practices
