Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network and software development.
• Proficiency with Java/Python/C++ and Object Oriented programming.
• Proficiency with network technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
• Excellent knowledge of basic data structures, search/sort algorithms.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver the mission-critical stack with focus on security, resiliency, scale, and performance.
• Own end-to-end performance and operability for production services.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve service architecture.
• Explain technical characteristics of services and guide teams to add premier capabilities.
• Understand scale, capacity, security, and requirements of the stack.
• Diagnose complex issues and define mitigations; develop SOPs as needed.
• Develop deep understanding of services and technologies.
