Job summary

Scrunch, a Sitecore company, is seeking a senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and operate the foundational systems powering its AI-first platform. The role spans cloud infrastructure, developer tooling, observability, and reliability, with high ownership and real impact on scale.

You will work in a fast-velocity environment, writing production-grade Python, applying IaC, and deploying at scale, including edge compute decisions and performance optimizations.

Qualifications

• Design, build and operate cloud services at scale.
• Experience in a high-velocity software development organization.
• Edge compute decisions: when to run at the edge vs back in stack.
• Infra as code with automation; Terraform or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of database performance and scaling; bottleneck identification.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (Prefect, Airflow, Temporal, Inngest).
• Strong foundation in observability: logging, tracing, metrics, alerting.
• Production-quality Python coding; software engineering mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate foundational systems powering Scrunch's platform.
• Own cloud infrastructure, tooling, observability and reliability.
• Drive automation and scalable solutions; advocate for best practices in CI/CD.
• Collaborate across teams to scale services and improve performance.
