Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience: 1–3 years of hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP).
• Linux Fundamentals: Working knowledge of Linux system administration.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in shell scripting and familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Adaptability: Comfortable moving between different technical domains (accounts, compute, AI platforms).
• Problem‑Solving: Good troubleshooting and analytical skills, with a willingness to learn.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a fast‑paced, varied team environment.

Responsibilities

• Cloud Account & Governance Administration: Administer AWS and GCP accounts, organizations, and SCPs; manage IAM, networking, and guardrails.
• Platform Enablement: Provision and manage access to cloud and AI/ML platforms (e.g., Bedrock, Vertex AI) for internal teams to use.
• Infrastructure Support: Provide day-to-day administration and support across Linux servers and GPU compute clusters.
• System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring and resolve issues across cloud, compute, and platform environments.
• Security and Compliance: Apply security best practices and support compliance efforts across cloud accounts and underlying systems.
• Automation: Write and maintain scripts to automate routine administrative tasks (e.g., account provisioning, access management).
• Backup and Recovery: Help implement and maintain backup solutions, ensuring data integrity and availability.
• Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members and internal platform users to support their infrastructure and access needs.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with cloud, AI platform, and systems best practices, and suggest improvements.
