Job summary

Circet Ireland & UK is hiring an experienced Project Engineer to support large-scale civil and utility projects in the Dublin area. The role focuses on planning, technical compliance, site management and coordinating underground HV cable works to meet scope, schedule and quality requirements.

The successful candidate will lead safety, supervise subcontractors, liaise with clients and designers, and drive design input and on-site delivery with the project team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 4-5 years' experience in civil/roadworks and utilities.
• Knowledge of setting out equipment (Trimble GPS, robotic total station, levelling).
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is advantageous.
• Strong health, safety and quality on site.

Responsibilities

• Promote and ensure high standards of Health, Safety and Quality on projects.
• Supervise and manage subcontractors on site.
• Liaise with client management team and designers.
• Coordinate design activities and input into design elements.
• Oversee site quality and ensure professional site presentation.
• Attend regular site meetings and maintain daily site records.
• Manage works progress, deliveries and update the works programme.
• Work with project manager on roadworks and utility projects.
