Job summary

ProSource Group is seeking a Project Planner in Dublin to develop and maintain detailed programmes for tender and live projects. You will collaborate with operational, commercial and engineering teams to ensure realistic schedules, monitor progress, and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Reporting to senior management, you will produce resource schedules, planning documents, and contribute to tender submissions while mentoring junior members and driving continuous improvements in

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Planning or Project Controls role within construction or civil engineering.
• Experience on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of project planning from tender and delivery perspectives.
• Good knowledge of commercial and contractual aspects of project delivery.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project programmes for tender and live construction projects.
• Work with operational, commercial, and engineering teams to keep programmes realistic and aligned with objectives.
• Monitor progress, identify delays or risks, and propose solutions to meet milestones.
• Produce resource schedules, planning reports, and programme updates for teams and management.
• Support tender submissions by developing methodologies, strategies, and planning docs.
• Carry out programme analysis and contribute to risk assessments and mitigation plans.
• Attend project, tender, and handover meetings to provide planning expertise across the lifecycle.
• Promote best practice in planning and support collaboration across disciplines.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous process improvement.
