Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Senior Engineer to join its Sustainable Transport team in Ireland. You will lead the design and delivery of active travel, urban street and public realm projects from planning to construction, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and liaising with clients and authorities.

Qualified candidates will have a Level 8 Civil Engineering degree and 5+ years in transportation/civil engineering, with knowledge of DMURS, national standards, and traffic modelling

Qualifications

• Level 8 Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in transportation/civil engineering.
• Strong experience delivering active travel, urban street or sustainable transport projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of sustainable transportation projects.
• Manage projects from planning through to detailed design and construction.
• Prepare preliminary and detailed civil/transportation designs.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams and sub-consultants.
• Liaise with clients, local authorities and project stakeholders.
