Job summary

Kenton Black Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead delivery on major construction projects across Ireland and the Nordics. You will provide technical leadership, coordinate design teams, and ensure safe, high-quality civil works from early design through to handover.

You will travel across Ireland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark with flexible project locations, collaborating with project managers, site teams and subcontractors to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience as Civil/Senior Civil Engineer on major construction projects.
• Experience on large-scale civil or structural projects.
• Willingness to travel across Ireland and the Nordics.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior engineering leadership across the full project lifecycle.
• Coordinate civil works on large-scale construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with approved designs, programmes and quality standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Support with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
