Reed Specialist Recruitment Limited is partnering to fill a Senior Engineer role for civil infrastructure projects in North East Ireland. You will lead site activities, coordinate teams, and ensure delivery to safety, time, budget and quality targets.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree and has 6+ years’ post-graduate experience with roads, rail or bridges. Strong communication and mentoring skills are essential for successful collaboration with clients and design teams.

Competenze

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 years’ post-graduate experience.
• Proven experience delivering civil engineering projects, with roads/rail/bridges focus.

Mansioni

• Manage and coordinate all site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Assist with supervision of site teams, including foremen, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring efficient allocation of labour, plant and materials.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) requirements and company procedures.
• Liaise effectively with clients, designers, stakeholders, and the wider project team to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
• Review and coordinate technical documentation, drawings, and construction methodologies to support efficient project execution.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining productivity, programme targets, and quality standards.
• Contribute to project planning, progress reporting, and overall project delivery.
